Who We Are
Our Vision
Lichfield and District Dog Training Society was formed in 1964 with the aim of promoting responsible dog ownership and helping people to enjoy their pets.
Whether you simply want your dog to be a well-behaved family pet, or wish to venture further and compete in one of the various disciplines such as Obedience, Agility, Flyball, we are here to help.
Here you will see links to the four sections of the club; Obedience, Agility, Flyball and Good Citizens (Pet Handlers). We use reward-based training techniques and encourage owners to build a relationship with the dogs which is built on trust.
If you would like further information or to enroll with the club then please contact us - we will be very happy to hear from you and meet you and your furry friend.

Obedience Training
We are the dog obedience training section and aim to compete at shows in the obedience classes.
We offer reward based, motivational training for pre-beginners up to Championship level. Classes are on Monday evenings at Calf Heath Village Hall WV10 7DW

Agility Training
If your pet needs a mental and physical challenge, try our agility training classes. Our trainers will teach you and your pet how to navigate an obstacle course.
We train every Thursday evening at Rodbaston Agricultural College, Penkridge, Stafford ST19 5PH
Our training is fun and reward based with trainers that have knowledge and experience in a variety of breeds whom succesfully compete at various grades in Kennel Club agility competitions.

Good Citizen Dog Scheme Training
Does your pet have trouble following basic commands? Our obedience training programme will teach your pet to listen and respond to your commands consistently. Looking for a fun way to bond with your pet? Try our Good Citizen training classes! We'll teach you and your pet how to be the perfect pup.
